Abstract
Audio recording and transcript of Dolly Gregory's 1979 interview with Shirley Ramsay for the Coal Tyee History Project. Gregory recounts working together with her first husband, William Richardson, at the Ida Clara Mine. The Richardson family had retained coal rights to a piece of property in South Wellington and the family ran their own small coal mining operations there. Gregory also reflects on what it was like to be both a coal miner and a homemaker at a farm in the Cinnabar Valley area.
