Abstract
This teaching case follows a coach completing an applied coaching research project focused on preparation for working with racialized clients. Drawing on a focus group with other coaches, the case explores how coaching education, professional standards, and lived experience shape understanding of anti-racism in coaching practice. The case invites discussion about professional preparation, self-awareness, and the evolving expectations of coaching in increasingly diverse contexts.
