Abstract
The Strait of Georgia, located in southwestern British Columbia between Vancouver Island and the mainland, is an important inland sea used for seafood production, recreation, and maritime industry. In this paper we discuss a relatively new concern, the presence and role of alien species in the Strait of Georgia ecosystem.
