Audio recording of speeches made during The Honourable David Lam's visit to the Chinese Memorial Gardens in Nanaimo. Six months prior to the event, Lam had been appointed as the 25th Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, and was the first Chinese Canadian to be appointed as vice-regal in Canada.
