Abstract
Photo of 100 years of coal (1849-1949) monument in downtown Nanaimo, B.C. The plaque below the monument reads: "In honour of Nanaimo coal mine workers May 2, 1987 U.M.W. of A." The monument is located at the corner of Church and Front Streets, across the street from Dallas Square.
