Abstract

Crossing the topics to New Zealand is disorienting to northerners. Planners, with their brains hard-wired to the geography of their hemisphere, have a particularly hard time. Perhaps it's the different stars in the sky, the reverse arc of the sun, or simply driving on the wrong side of the road. An extreme case of this disorientation is locally termed "going troppo."
